Frank Lloyd Wright LEGO Sets

Hands down my favorite playtime activity when I was a child was Legos. Now that they have released the Frank Lloyd Wright LEGO sets it's destine to be one of my favorite adult activities too. Created in partnership with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, Brickstructures, Inc. and the LEGO Architecture brand, the first two sets in the series are The Guggenheim and Fallingwater. In addition to the Wright buildings there will be six additional structures, including the Sears tower. What amazes me is that it's taken so long for LEGO to create an architecture series, It's such a perfect merger and what a great way to educate children about design and architecture.

Greeny the bear, of "Sustainability Adventures with Greeny the Bear" Has bad days just like the rest of us. Saving the planet can be a stressful job, so who can blame him for losing it every now and then..

Our friend, Megan Deal, is selling everything she owns in order to lighten her load and fund her move to Greensboro, Alabama. On June 1st, with only one bag of belongings, Megan will join Project M to start working with a group of passionate young designers creating meaningful projects for Hale County.

the Vega Lounge - Happy Hour - 5/15

Sure times are lean and we've had to cut some corners, but luckily we have plenty of left over booze and snacks from the last few gatherings.
